What fresh produce do you use to cook in the summer?  Aspira Apartments in Seattle are close to many great restaurants, but sometimes a home cooked meal is all you need.  Seattle is the place to be for the fresh ingredients you crave in a home cooked meal.  We have many farmers’ markets through the city that fit around your busy schedule.

Tuesday
On Tuesdays after work head to the 6th Avenue Farmers’ Market.  This market is held from 3pm-7pm every Tuesday. The market starts on May 5th and runs until September 29th. You can find the market at 6th Avenue and North Pine Street, Tacoma.  You can find out more information on this market by visiting tacomafarmersmarket.com

Wednesday

Do you want to go buy your fresh produce during lunch or when you are off during the day?  The Bellingham Farmers’ Market is held on Wednesdays from 12pm-5pm. This market does not kick off it’s season until June 3rd.  However, you can visit the market at 1207 10th Street, Bellingham all the way until September 30th. You can find more information here.

Saturday

If you are more of a weekend shopper, make sure to check out Bellevue Farmers’ Market on Saturdays. This market is open from 10am to 3pm from June until November. Check out the opening day festivities for some fun additional events.  The market is located at Compass Plaza at 550 106th Ave NE - next to Barnes & Noble.  You can find more information about the market on their website.

Sunday

Finally, this year-round Farmers’ Market is perfect for those who are planning Sunday night meals.  The market is open every Sunday from 10am-3pm.  This market is located at Ballard Avenue NW, between Vernon Place NW & 22nd Avenue NW, Seattle.
